At Westlake United Methodist Church, we welcome and accept all people of all ages, races, social and economic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. All are encouraged to worship and participate fully in the life of our church. As United Methodists, we hold to the historic doctrines of the Christian faith. Our emphasis is on a personal faith, lived out in the world with direction and purpose. Our passionate faith is advanced by strong convictions. We look to the Bible as the authoritative guide for faith and practice and we value the intellect and modern science. We are willing to ask questions, wrestle with difficult issues, and do so with grace and compassion.
