These stained Glass Windows were designed and created by SMW member, Edward J. Groening and were dedicated on April 17, 2005. There are two types of windows included here:
1) Windows that represent Jesus’ disciples. These windows measure 39 in. wide by 19 in. tall.
2) Windows that represent biblical stories and the church calendar. These windows measure 39 in. wide by 27 in. tall.
The windows were removed from the building after the building was put up for sale.
The windows available in this auction remain after the windows were offered to the families who sponsored each window when they were made and after SMW members were given an opportunity to select a window.
The money raised from this auction will help to support Westlake’s ongoing ministry and mission on the Westside of Cleveland.

From the included label: “Called the Twin, Thomas is remembered for his doubts (John 20:24-28). Tradition tells us that Thomas traveled as far as India, where he was martyred. The carpenter’s square represents Thomas as a church builder. Not only did he build the church by proclaiming the Gospel, but tradition tells that Thomas made a church building with his own hands. The spear represents Thomas’ death.”
