Learning About God, Following Jesus

Friends, Fun and Faith

10 a.m. Sunday Morning

Kids Sunday morning revolves around the same Bible stories parents are hearing in worship! Kids’ lessons incorporate a short video with animated characters modeling what it’s like for kids to live out their faith along with games and time for creating.  Come visit us any Sunday morning!

PreKinder and Kindergartners
Gather in room 201 on the main level for story, games, crafts and song that immerse your young ones in faith

Elementary Grades 1st through 6th
Begin in worship, then head to Fellowship Hall and classrooms after the children’s message for big group and small group faith-based fun.

Special Needs Care
Our sensory safe room is run by a trained staff coordinator and loving volunteers that will work with your family and child to find the best environment for them to experience God’s love. We look forward to connecting with you to help make your whole family’s time with us on Sunday morning as special as possible. Please contact Ms. Ellie Peiffer to set up a visit ahead of time.

Childcare
Sunday Morning 9:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m
Childcare for infants (6 weeks +) through 3 years is provided by our carefully screened, trained, loving team of nursery assistants that will introduce our littles ones to God’s love and care through stories, song and play. Check in is located in room 202. Childcare is also provided on request for small group studies.

Mission: Possible

Mission: Possible are hands on mission events for families with kids in 6th grade and younger. We serve together as we grow compassionate kids that not only have faith but experience “doing faith” together as a way of following Jesus.

Children's Choir

Children’s Choir provides an opportunity for young singers (grades K-6) to develop their musical skills while praising God through song. This choir meets at 9 am on Sunday mornings in Room 104 from September – May. Children’s Choir is directed by Samantha Loomis, a professional singer with a masters degree in vocal pedagogy. Children are welcome to join the choir at most times during the year. Please contact Samantha Loomis at childrenschoir@westlakeumc.org for more information.
