Learn more about Life Groups at Westlake UMC!
Life Groups are a small group of people, 12 or less, that meet consistently for friendship, study, prayer, and service. Westlake UMC has groups that meet at the church, people’s homes or online. Groups are welcoming members every 6 weeks as well as new groups are forming.
Please contact Ellie Peiffer or the church office for more information on which Life Group would be a good fit for you!

Savior, What the Bible Says About the Cross – a DVD study by Magrey deVega
The cross is the central symbol of the Christian faith. But what exactly did Jesus do to save us from our sins? Why was the cross necessary, and what does it mean for us today? DeVega’s study guides us through Biblical images that help us understand the meaning of Jesus’ death & resurrection and the mystery of salvation.
Thursdays at 9am with Rev Mollie begins Feb. 18. Email the office for the Zoom link.
Seven Words, Listening to Christ from the Cross – a DVD study by Susan Robb
While many of us naturally wish to avoid the reality of the cross, it’s from the cross that Jesus speaks and shows his deepest love for us. Those who listen to Jesus’ last words from the cross will discover what he most wants them (the world) to hear and will experience an intimate and divine awe only available to those who are willing to draw near his cross.
Mondays at 7pm with Gary & Jayne Linch begins Feb. 22.

Walking in the Wilderness provides a spiritual feast during this challenging time. Order your own book online or the church has a limited supply of books for pickup Order here:
